[What I do]
I try my best to be like Jesus. I am currently studying Special Education and Elementary Education and trying to love as many people as I can along the way. I love traveling and am constantly itching to do more, even if it's to just a state away. I spend a good majority of my free time baking, collaging, blogging, and crafting. 

[Who I am]
First and foremost, I am a daughter of the King most high, beloved by his son Jesus. 
Most people will tell you I am a health nut and a bit of a neat freak, but they probably haven't seen me eat ice cream. Biking, running, swimming, and black coffee help to keep me going. My passions are photography/film, writing, the environment, and people. I believe that music is nourishment to the soul, that it connects us and grounds us. My future is outlined with possibilities and I'm just waiting for God to show me his will so I can fill in the details. 

[Why I'm Here] 

I lost my dad to cancer in March 2011, and writing letters to him on my blog helps me to remember the good and the bad, and to keep laughing. I titled this blog based on an exerpt from Henry David Thoreau's Walden. Thoreau said "Moreover, I, on my side, require of every writer, first or last, a simple and sincere account of his own life, and not merely what he has heard of other men's lives..." 

I'm here to give a simple and sincere account of my life. Thanks for joining me on this journey.
